Only three teams are still unbeaten in CAA play and each faces a challenging matchup in Week 7. Elon brings a 2-0 CAA record and a six-game conference winning streak into its home contest against No. 18 Villanova. No. 17 Rhode Island is also 2-0 and returns to CAA action for the first time in a month against New Hampshire. No. 12 Monmouth, which is 4-0 against FCS competition, travels to Towson, which defeated the Hawks, 26-14, a year ago. Hampton hosts Campbell to round the league slate.

Three teams face non-conference foes in Week 7. Bryant hosts in-state rival Brown on Friday night. On Saturday, Maine visits Merrimack and North Carolina A&T welcomes South Carolina State for the Greatest Homecoming on Earth. CAA teams are 17-15 vs. non-conference FCS opponents.
