RICHMOND, Va. – The field is set for the 2025 CAA Volleyball Championship as Campbell and Hofstra captured a share of the regular season title and a first-round bye in next week’s conference tournament.

The three-day postseason competition is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 20, taking place inside SECU Arena in Towson, Md. All five postseason contests will be streamed live on FloCollege.

The Pride (21-3, 13-3 CAA) and the Camels (21-6, 13-3 CAA) battled for the No. 1 overall seed in the conference tournament, waiting until the final series of their respective seasons to decide it. Hofstra, who remains one of the nation’s top defending teams holding opponents to a .127 hitting percentage, secured a 3-1 win over Northeastern on Saturday to finish league play at 13-3. Riding a double-digit winning streak into the final weekend, Campbell split its final two matches with North Carolina A&T to also match the Pride in the standings. Hofstra broke the tie for the top seed after a significant edge in set winning percentage.

Hofstra will face the winner of Thursday’s match between fourth-seeded Charleston and fifth-seeded North Carolina A&T (14-11, 10-6 CAA). The Cougars picked up a pair of wins over Elon in their regular-season series finale, thanks to 2.38 kills per set from both Izzy Marinelli and Caroline Noonan. The Aggies halted the Camels’ 11-match win streak on Saturday following a pair of 15-kill efforts from Tyne Ross and Mikala Sampson, as well as a 20-dig performance from Lili Radnai.

The showdown between Charleston and N.C. A&T will feature two of the league’s elite players at the net. The Aggies’ Ross paces the CAA with 4.38 kills per set, going up Charleston’s Noonan, who sits top five in the league with a .340 hitting percentage (4th in CAA) and 104 total blocks (3rd).

Campbell will await the winner of Thursday night’s matchup between No. 3 seed Towson and No. 6 seed Stony Brook. The Tigers (21-6, 13-3 CAA) edged out Charleston for the higher seed after sweeping their head-to-head matchup on Sept. 20-21. The Seawolves (11-14, 7-9 CAA) punched their ticket into the postseason field following a 3-0 win over UNCW on Friday night along with additional help to guide the remaining tiebreakers in their favor.

The quarterfinal matchup will also feature two of the CAA’s top hitters in Stony Brook’s Kali Moore (3.91 kps, 3rd in CAA) and Towson’s Erin Brothers (37.9% hitting, 2nd in CAA).
