RICHMOND, Va. (Nov. 1, 2025) – With spots still up for grabs heading into the final playdate of the season, six teams emerged as participants for the 2025 CAA Men’s Soccer Championship.

The postseason kicks off on Thursday, November 6, on the campuses of Stony Brook and Campbell before heading to the homes of the divisional champions – Hofstra and Elon – for the conference semifinals on Sunday, November 9.  The highest remaining seed with the most conference points will host the CAA Championship game on Saturday, November 15 or Sunday, November 16.

Hofstra separated itself from the pack early, locking up the No. 1 seed in the North Division with an impressive 21-point tally. In the only afternoon game of the day, Stony Brook rallied to a 3-0 victory over Northeastern to finish the season on 13 points and clinch the No. 2 seed.

Without a game on its schedule, Monmouth was forced to watch its postseason fate play out, ultimately earning the No.3 spot thanks to help from other games across the division.

While the participants in the South Division had already been decided, UNCW and Elon had one more game to improve their seed heading into the postseason.

Sitting on 12 points heading into Saturday, Elon added three more to its tally with a 1-0 win over William & Mary to clinch the first seed and secure a bye to the semifinals. UNCW fell 2-1 to Charleston in the only other game in the division to remain in third with 12 points, meaning Campbell’s 14 points were good for the No. 2 seed.

All three games of the 2025 CAA Men’s Soccer Championship will be streamed on FloCollege.
