Rhode Island 38, Hampton 10

Reserve quarterback Conner Kenyon threw for a career-high 258 yards and two touchdowns, and Antwain Littleton ran for 148 yards and two scores as Rhode Island captured its second straight CAA championship with a 38-10 victory over Hampton. The Rams finished unbeaten in CAA play for the first time in program history.
URI sprinted out to a 21-0 first-quarter advantage as Littleton had scoring runs of 65 and 6 yards and Brendon Barrow ran in from 28 yards out. Hampton got on the board midway through the second quarter on a 44-yard TD run by quarterback Earl Woods III, but Garth White’s 39-yard field goal put the Rams ahead 24-7 at the half. A Brett Starling field goal pulled Hampton within 14, but Kenyon, who entered the game late in the second quarter, delivered TD passes to Connor Finer (4 yards) and Omari Walker (61 yards) to put the game away. Greg Gaines made eight receptions for 139 yards for a URI offense that piled up 610 yards. For Hampton, Woods III passed for 136 yards and ran for 87 yards, while Korede Sogbesan tallied 10 tackles, 3.0 TFL’s and a sack.
UAlbany 31, Monmouth 24

Jack Shields passed for 161 yards and three touchdowns as UAlbany built a 31-3 second-half lead and held off Monmouth, 31-24, for its first CAA win of the season.
Shields fired scoring passes of 13 yards to Lasalle Rose, Jr. and 4 yards to Riley Engelhard and backup quarterback Aidan Semo reached the end zone on a 16-yard run to give the Great Danes a 21-3 advantage at the half. Shields hit Rose with a 22-yard TD strike on the opening drive of the second half and Steven Sadek tacked on a 25-yard field goal to put UAlbany up 31-3 with 5:26 left in the third quarter. Monmouth rallied behind quarterback Frankie Weaver, who threw touchdown passes to Josh Derry (8 yards), TJ Speight (28 yards) and Maxwell James (8 yards) to cut the deficit to seven with 3:19 on the clock. However, UAlbany, which stopped the Hawks on a 4
th-down play with 6:36 left, was able to kill off most of the clock on their final drive and then clinched the victory with a Chris Gales sack. Rose finished with six catches for 78 yards and 2 TD’s with Gales recording 12 tackles and a sack for UAlbany. Weaver threw for 269 yards and 3 TD’s, with Derry making 10 catches for 135 yards and Speight adding 12 grabs for 89 yards.
Stony Brook 35, Bryant 28

A 6-yard touchdown pass from Quinn Boyd to tight end Cole Bunicci with 51 seconds to play lifted Stony Brook past Bryant, 35-28. Boyd finished 33-of-47 passing for 298 yards and 2 TD’s.
Bryant jumped out to a 7-0 lead on Elijah Elliott’s 1-yard run, but the Seawolves reeled off 21 unanswered points on TD runs by Boyd (3 yards) and Dylan Harris (1 yard) and a 23-yard scoring reception by Jayce Freeman. The Bulldogs evened the contest at 21-21 at the half on TD rushes from Grant Robinson (1 yard) and Elliott (3 yards). A pair of Michael Mannino field goals put SBU ahead 27-21, but Bryant regained the advantage on Elliott’s third TD run (1 yard) of the day with 3:59 remaining. Boyd was then able to engineer a 13-play, 75-yard drive capped by the game-winning throw to Bunicci. An interception by JoJo Garcia sealed the win. Dez Williams made 10 receptions for 117 yards for SBU and Aidan Kaler led the defense with 11 tackles. For Bryant, Elliott rushed for 80 yards and 3 TD’s with Lonnie Rice making 10 tackles defensively.
New Hampshire 33, Maine 27

Quarterback Matt Vezza accounted for 303 yards of offense and two touchdowns as New Hampshire extended its winning streak to five with a 33-27 triumph over rival Maine to retain the Brice-Cowell Musket. The Wildcats also got four field goals from Nick Reed, including a career-long 55-yarder.
UNH went ahead 13-0 early in the second quarter on a pair of Reed field goals and a 1-yard Myles Thomason TD run. Maine cut into the deficit on Carter Peevy’s 2-yard scoring run, but the Wildcats closed the half with an 8-yard TD catch by Chase Wilson and two more Reed field goals to make it 27-7 at the break. The Black Bears battled back as Peevy hit Trevin Ewing with a 12-yard TD pass on the opening drive of the second half and Rashawn Marshall added a 9-yard TD run to close the gap to 27-21 with 9:39 remaining in the game. UNH responded with a 73-yard drive that consumed nearly eight minutes and was capped by a 10-yard TD run by Vezza with 1:56 left. Maine got a 62-yard scoring run from Peevy with 39 seconds remaining, but UNH recovered the ensuing onside kick. Thomason finished with 73 rushing yards and Cohen Cook led the UNH defense with eight tackles and 1.5 TFL’s. For Maine, Peevy passed for 180 yards and a TD and ran for 114 yards and 2 TD’s, while Devin Vaught had 10 stops for the Black Bear defense.
Towson 35, Campbell 31

Andrew Indorf threw a game-winning 18-yard touchdown pass to Cleveland Charlton with 38 seconds to play as Towson edged Campbell, 35-31. Indorf finished with 196 passing yards and four TD’s.
After Towson went ahead 7-3 early on a 25-yard Lukkas Londono TD catch, Campbell responded with back-to-back scores. Kamden Sixkiller hit Daniel Lopes with an 18-yard scoring strike and Naieem Kearney found the end zone from 14 yards out to put the Camels up 17-7. The Tigers battled back behind Indorf who threw TD passes to John Dunmore (12 yards) and Londono (4 yards) to take a 21-17 lead into halftime. Campbell moved back on top as Ethan Lawrence delivered TD runs of 1 and 8 yards to claim a 31-21 advantage with 11:54 left in the game. However, Towson struck quickly with a 64-yard scoring strike from Winston Watkins to CJ Schaeffer and then put together a late 76-yard drive capped by the Charleton TD catch for the game-winner. Londono finished with 80 receiving yards and Myles Brodie made 10 tackles for the Towson defense. For Campbell, Sixkiller threw for 258 yards and a TD with Randall King making eight catches for 121 yards. Lakeem Rudolph had 10 tackles and an interception defensively.
Elon 55, North Carolina A&T 17

Quarterback Landen Clark threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns and added 105 yards and 2 TD’s on the ground as Elon defeated North Carolina A&T, 55-17. Dan Frederick added 101 rushing yards and a TD for a Phoenix offense that tallied 468 yards.
Elon sprinted out to a 17-0 first-quarter lead as Clark threw a 29-yard TD pass to Landyn Backey and ran for a 2-yard score. In the second quarter, Clark connected on a 76-yard strike to Isaiah Fuhrmann, but A&T answered with a 29-yard TD pass from Nelson Layne to Michael Carlock-Williams that made it 24-10. The Phoenix then took advantage of a pair of Aggies’ fumbles and extended their halftime edge to 34-10 on a 19-yard Frederick TD run. Clark put the game away in the second half with TD passes to Fuhrmann (9 yards) and Zimere Winston (54 yards) and an 86-yard scoring run. Fuhrmann had 111 receiving yards, while Kahmari Brown had a big day defensively for Elon with eight tackles, 3.0 TFL’s, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles. For A&T, Layne passed for 160 yards and 2 TD’s and ran for 33. Carlock-Williams had 60 receiving yards and 2 TD’s and Joshua Iseah had 10 tackles and 1.5 TFL’s.
Villanova 34, Sacred Heart 10

Pat McQuaide threw for 216 yards and two touchdowns and Ja’briel Mace added 165 yards and 2 TD’s on the ground as Villanova topped Sacred Heart, 34-10, for its eighth straight victory.
The Wildcats fell behind 3-0 early, but Mace reached the end zone on runs of 80 and 19 yards and added a 19-yard reception to put Villanova up 21-3 at the half. Third-quarter field goals of 27 and 29 yards from Jack Barnum extended the lead and VU closed the scoring with an 11-yard TD pass from McQuaide to Isaiah Ragland with 7:37 to play. Richie Kimmel tallied six tackles, a sack and a forced fumble for the Villanova defense, which held SHU to 88 rushing yards.
Richmond 28, William & Mary 21
Box Score
William & Mary got out to a 14-0 halftime lead, but Richmond rallied for a 28-21 victory to take home the Capital Cup.
The Tribe got a 3-yard TD run from Tyler Hughes in the first quarter and a 3-yard scoring run from Rashad Raymond in the second quarter to build its 14-point halftime edge. The Spiders responded with 21 points in the third quarter to take the lead, before a 7-yard scoring run from Hughes tied the contest with 11:11 remaining. UR was able to put together a 91-yard drive and got the game-winning touchdown with 1:56 on the clock. The Tribe had just 194 yards offensively. Luke Banbury made 16 tackles for the W&M defense.
