Hofstra's Kipkosgei Earns All-America Honors After 38th Place Finish At NCAA Cross Country Championship

FINAL RESULTS

COLUMBIA, Mo. (November 22, 2025) – Hofstra freshman Freddie Kipkosgei earned All-America honors after an impressive 38th place finish at the NCAA Men’s Cross Country Championship on Saturday morning at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia, Mo.

Kipkosgei completed the 10K course in a time of 29:04.9, which was just 31 seconds behind the race winner and among the top performances in a field of 261 runners. He was inside the top 20 with less than 2,000 meters to go in the event.

The All-America effort at the NCAA Championship capped a great freshman campaign for Kipkosgei. He was the individual champion at the CAA Championship and captured the individual title at the NCAA Northeast Regional.
