RICHMOND, Va. (November 24, 2025) – CAA Football has announced its weekly award winners for Week 13 of the 2025 season. Elon freshman quarterback Landen Clark was chosen as the Offensive Player of the Week while Elon sophomore defensive end Kahmari Brown and UAlbany senior linebacker Chris Gales shared Defensive Player of the Week honors. New Hampshire sophomore kicker Nick Reed was selected as the Special Teams Player of the Week and Stony Brook freshman quarterback Quinn Boyd earned Rookie of the Week accolades.

CAA Football Offensive Player of the Week
Landen Clark, Fr., QB, Elon (Radford, Va./Radford)
 
Clark accounted for 336 yards of offense and six touchdowns in Elon’s 55-17 victory over North Carolina A&T. The freshman was 10-of-24 passing for 231 yards and a career-high four TD’s and ran for a team-best 105 yards and two TD’s. Clark averaged 244.6 yards of offense this season and accounted for 29 TD’s.
 
CAA Football Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Kahmari Brown, So., DE, Elon (Jacksonville, N.C./White Oak)
 
Brown recorded eight tackles, 3.0 TFL’s, 2.5 sacks and two forced fumbles in Elon’s win over North Carolina A&T. The sophomore set an Elon season record with 12.0 sacks, which leads the CAA and ranks fourth in FCS, and he also set the Phoenix career sacks mark with 16.5 in just 23 career games.
 
CAA Football Co-Defensive Player of the Week
Chris Gales, Sr., LB, UAlbany (Cleveland, Ohio/Benedictine)
 
Gales contributed a team-high 12 tackles and a sack to help lead UAlbany’s 31-24 upset of No. 11 Monmouth. The senior was part of a Great Danes’ defense that held the Hawks’ prolific offense to three points over the first 42 minutes and then ended the game with a sack to seal the win.
 
CAA Football Special Teams Player of the Week
Nick Reed, So., PK, New Hampshire (Harrison, N.Y./Harrison)
 
Reed was a perfect 4-for-4 on field goals, including a school-record 55-yarder, as New Hampshire defeated rival Maine, 33-27. The sophomore also hit kicks from 29, 21 and 33 yards as the nation’s leader in field goals improved to 24-of-31 on the season. It was his sixth field goal of 50+ yards.
 
CAA Football Rookie of the Week
Quinn Boyd, Fr., QB, Stony Brook (Livermore, Calif./Granada)
 
Boyd accounted for 343 yards of offense and three touchdowns in Stony Brook’s 35-28 win over Bryant. The freshman was 33-of-47 passing for 298 yards and two touchdowns, including a game-winning 6-yard TD toss with 51 seconds left. He also added 45 yards and a TD on the ground. It was his 4th straight game with 250+ pass yards.
