Four CAA Football Teams Ranked In Final Regular Season FCS Top 25 Polls

RICHMOND, Va. (November 24, 2025) – Four CAA Football teams are ranked in the final regular season Top 25 polls that were released by Stats Perform and the AFCA on Monday.

Villanova (9-2), which rolled past Sacred Heart, 34-10, last Saturday, moved up to No. 6 in the AFCA poll and remained at No. 9 in the Stats poll. The Wildcats take an eight-game winning streak into Saturday’s game with Harvard in the first round of the NCAA FCS playoffs.

Rhode Island (10-2), which clinched its second straight CAA Football title with a 38-10 victory over Hampton last week, climbed two spots to No. 8 in the Stats rankings and remained at No. 9 in the AFCA rankings. The Rams are riding a six-game winning streak as they host Central Connecticut State in the first round of the FCS playoffs on Saturday.

Monmouth (9-3) slipped to No. 16 in the AFCA poll and No. 21 in the Stats poll following a 31-24 loss to UAlbany last week.

New Hampshire (8-4) moved up to No. 22 in the Stats rankings and received votes from the AFCA after battling past Maine, 33-27, last week. The Wildcats, who have won five straight games, travel to South Dakota State for a first-round FCS playoff game on Saturday.
