The first round of the NCAA FCS playoffs get underway on Saturday with three CAA Football teams in action. CAA champion Rhode Island, the No. 9 overall seed, faces Northeast Conference champion Central Connecticut State, in a rematch of a first-round game a year ago. Villanova, the No. 12 overall seed, makes its fifth playoff appearance in seven years and hosts Ivy League member Harvard. New Hampshire, making its third trip to the playoffs in four years, travels to perennial power and No. 14 overall seed South Dakota State. All three games can be seen on ESPN+.
