Elon's Krstic, W&M's Larsson And Davis Advance At ITA Conference Masters Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (November 7, 2025) – Elon’s
Veljko Krstic and the William & Mary doubles team of
Tilda Larsson and
Francesca Davis won matches on Thursday to advance to the second day of the ITA Conference Masters Championship in San Diego, Calif.
Krstic reached the quarterfinals of the men’s singles draw by recording a pair of wins. The Phoenix senior defeated Longwood’s Timeo Puech, 6-2, 6-1, in the first round and followed by beating Old Dominion’s Zechariah Hamrouni, 6-3, 6-3, in the second round. Krstic faces top-seeded Michael Zheng of Columbia, the defending national champion in singles, at 2 p.m. EST on Friday in quarterfinal action.
Larsson and Davis posted a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Line Greylingto and Yesenila Ovcharova of Youngstown State in the opening round of the women’s doubles draw. The Tribe tandem faces Clara Owen and Abby Nugent of Xavier at 3:30 p.m. EST on Friday in the round of 16.
Elon’s Simone Bergeron fell 6-3, 6-1 to Bryant’s Yahli Noy in the first round of the women’s singles competition, while the Phoenix men’s doubles team of Krstic and Nikola Parichkov was beaten 6-4, 6-4 by Western Michigan’s Drew Evans and Tim Riedel in the first round of the men’s doubles competition. All three players will compete in the consolation draw on Friday.
At the ITA East Sectional Championship in Chapel Hill, N.C., the UNCW men’s doubles team of Alex de Gabriele and Jordi Domenech dropped a 6-4, 6-4 decision to North Carolina’s Logan Zapp and Roan Jones in the first round.
