FCS Football Central Honors 16 CAA Players As All-Americans

RICHMOND, Va. (December 15, 2025) – CAA Football had 16 players honored on the 2025 FCS Football Central All-America team that was announced on Monday afternoon.

Recognized as first-team All-Americans were Rhode Island junior wide receiver Marquis Buchanan, Monmouth junior wide receiver Josh Derry, Monmouth graduate offensive lineman JT Cornelius, Rhode Island senior linebacker A.J. Pena, William & Mary senior cornerback Jalen Jones and Elon senior punter Jeff Yurk.

Making the All-America second team were Monmouth sophomore running back Rodney Nelson, Villanova graduate offensive lineman Temi Ajirotutu, Elon sophomore defensive lineman Kahmari Brown, Villanova senior linebacker Shane Hartzell, Rhode Island senior cornerback Ayinde Johnson, Villanova sophomore kick returner Ja’briel Mace and North Carolina A&T junior punt returner Elijah Kennedy.

Named to the All-America third team were Rhode Island junior quarterback Devin Farrell, Rhode Island sophomore linebacker Rohan Davy and New Hampshire sophomore kicker Nick Reed.

Four additional CAA standouts received Freshman All-America accolades from FCS Football Central last week. Chosen to that squad were Monmouth defensive end Lamont Lester, Jr., William & Mary defensive end Justin Krueger, Villanova defensive back Anthony Hawkins and Villanova wide receiver/punt returner Braden Reed.
