Hofstra’s Stedile Earns AVCA All-North Region Honorable Mention

RICHMOND, Va. – Hofstra outside hitter and CAA Player of the Year Izadora Stedile added to her postseason awards this season after landing on the AVCA All-North Region Honorable Mentions.
The senior became the Pride’s fourth overall Player of the Year and first since Kelsie Wills in 2014 after stellar play throughout the 2025 campaign. Overall, the All-CAA First Team selection put forth career-best totals with 4.07 kills and 4.43 points per set on 29.1% hitting en route to helping Hofstra secure a share of the regular season title. Stedile registered double-digit kills in 23 of her 24 matches played, including five efforts of 20-plus slams. She also notched 17 double-doubles in 2025.
The Pride’s outside hitter dazzled in conference play, unloading 4.06 kills per set (2nd in CAA) on a .294 hitting percentage (9th) to go with 4.44 points per set (3rd). Her offensive prowess also complemented her defensive abilities in CAA play, ranking seventh in the league with 3.62 digs per set.
