SWAINTON, N.J. – Campbell staved off a surging Drexel in the second round of the 2025 CAA Men’s Golf Championship at Union League National Golf Club on Monday to maintain a one-stroke lead.

The Camels’ Henric Bjelke remained atop the leaderboard after shooting a 2-under 70 in round two, watching his lead expand to seven strokes at 9-under. Benjamin Killingstad (+2) and Joachim Larsen Tegner (+3) also find themselves in the top 10 through 36 holes, sitting seventh and 10th, respectively.  With Erik Johansson and Logan Graf in the mix, all five golfers birdied on the 18th hole for the second straight day to put the Camels ahead at 7-over 583.

Entering the round in a tie for fifth, Drexel unloaded a 5-under as a team on day two. Led by Brockton English, who was subbed in prior to the start of Monday’s action, nearly went bogey-free with a 5-under 67 after draining seven birdies. Teammate John Keba maintained his spot near the top of the leaderboard after sinking an eagle on 18, matching Elon’s Jack Wieler for the second consecutive round and taking a 1-under par heading into Championship Tuesday. The Dragons’ Griffin Mitchell is also in the hunt with even par heading into the final round.

Delaware’s Casper Nerpin is in the medalist mix with his childhood friend, Bjelke, at 2-under, posting the second-best mark entering Tuesday. Elon rounds out the top three on the team side, seeing Wieler and Matthew Doyle produce a 69 and a 70, respectively.

The final round of the 2025 CAA Men’s Golf Championship will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday from the Union League Golf Club. Keep up-to-date with the CAA’s Championship Central at https://caasports.com/MGolf.
