Five CAA Baseball Standouts Named NCBWA All-Americans

RICHMOND, Va. (June 11, 2025) – Five CAA baseball players have been honored as All-Americans by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

Northeastern outfielder Harrison Feinberg received first-team All-America accolades. The junior batted .367 and topped the Huskies with 18 homers and 67 RBI’s while also stealing 37 bases. He was chosen as the CAA Co-Player of the Year and was named the Most Outstanding Player at the CAA Baseball Championship.

Earning second-team All-America recognition were starting pitchers Will Jones of Northeastern and Zane Taylor of UNCW. Jones, a graduate student, went 11-1 with a 2.63 ERA. The NCBWA District 1 Player of the Year struck out 75 and walked only 19 over 72.0 innings and held opponents to a .213 batting average. Taylor, a senior, posted an 11-2 record with a league-best 1.98 ERA. The CAA Pitcher of the Year fanned 105 and walked just 11 over 95.2 innings and limited foes to a .181 batting average.

Named as third-team All-Americans were Elon junior third baseman/pitcher Ryan Sprock and Northeastern junior relief pitcher Charlie Walker. Sprock batted .321 with a team-high 14 homers and 50 RBI’s. He also excelled as the closer for the Phoenix, going 2-2 with four saves and a 3.63 ERA. Walker had a 4-0 record with a team-high seven saves and a 1.29 ERA. The Huskies’ closer fanned 56 in 48.2 innings and opponents batted just .173.
