ABCA All-America Accolades For Six CAA Baseball Players

RICHMOND, Va. (June 13, 2025) – Six CAA baseball players have been honored as All-Americans by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
Starting pitchers
Jordan Gottesman of Northeastern and
Zane Taylor of UNCW were selected to the ABCA All-America second team. Gottesman posted a 9-2 record with a 2.27 ERA. The left-hander, who tossed two complete games, struck out 97 and walked only 17 over 83.1 innings and held opponents to a .185 batting average. Taylor went 11-2 with a league-best 1.98 ERA and tossed a pair of complete games. The CAA Pitcher of the Year fanned 105 and walked just 11 over 95.2 innings and held foes to a .181 batting average.
Receiving third-team All-America recognition from the ABCA were outfielder
Harrison Feinberg, starting pitcher
Will Jones and relief pitcher
Charlie Walker of Northeastern, and William & Mary outfielder
Ben Parker.
Feinberg, the CAA Co-Player of the Year, batted .367 with 18 homers and 67 RBI’s. He added a team-high 37 stolen bases. Jones was 11-1 on the mound with a 2.63 ERA. He struck out 75 over 72.0 innings and was part of five shutouts. Walker put together a 4-0 record with a team-best seven saves in 16 appearances. He struck out 56 in 48.2 innings and held opponents to a .173 average. Parker, the CAA Co-Player of the Year, batted a CAA-best .407 with 11 homers and 50 RBI’s. He added 23 doubles, 70 runs scored and 17 stolen bases.
