National Honors Continue To Roll In For CAA Baseball

RICHMOND, Va. (July 2, 2025) – National honors have continued to roll in for CAA baseball players and coaches following the 2025 season.

William & Mary graduate outfielder Ben Parker was chosen to the CSC Academic All-America first team. Parker achieved a 3.52 GPA while graduating with a Master of Business Administration. On the field, the CAA Co-Player of the Year batted .407 with 23 doubles, 11 homers, 70 runs scored and 50 RBI’s.

UNCW senior pitcher Zane Taylor received second-team All-America honors from Baseball America and D1 Baseball.com. Taylor, who earlier received All-America accolades from the ABCA and NCBWA, went 11-2 with a league-best 1.98 ERA and a CAA-high 105 strikeouts in 95.2 innings.

Northeastern’s Mike Glavine was chosen as the ABCA Northeast Region Coach of the Year for the third consecutive season. The Huskies set program records for overall and conference wins, posting a 49-11 overall mark and a 25-2 ledger in league play. Northeastern captured the CAA regular-season tournament titles as part of a 27-game winning streak.

UNCW freshman pitcher Cam Bagwell was named a first-team Freshman All-American by Baseball America and a second-team Freshman All-American by D1 Baseball.com. Bagwell posted a 9-2 record with a 3.07 ERA.
