Hofstra’s Goddard Named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Division I Top 100 Players List

RICHMOND, Va. (Aug. 19, 2025) – Hofstra senior midfielder Laurie Goddard has beenselected as a Division I Top 100 Player by Top Drawer Soccer. The Englishman was the lone CAA representative, placing 79th on the list.
 
Awarded CAA Preseason Player of the Year just a few days prior, Goddard tied the team lead with nine goals and five assists for 23 points during the 2024 campaign. The accolades didn’t stop there as he was named an All-CAA Second Team member, an all-region pick, the CAA Championship Most Outstanding Player, and an NCAA Player of the Week in November.
 
Goddard and the Pride open their season against Bucknell on Thursday, August 21, at 7 p.m.
