Charleston’s Gold Named to 2025 MAC Hermann Trophy Watch List

RICHMOND, Va. (August 21, 2025) – Charleston senior defender Noah Gold has been named to the 2025 Hermann Trophy Watch List as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Thursday afternoon.
The Hermann Trophy is presented annually by the Missouri Athletic Club and is the nation’s highest individual honor recognizing the National Player of the Year as determined by voting of Division I head coaches who are members of the United Soccer Coaches.
A 2025 All-CAA Preseason selection, Gold earns a spot after scoring five goals across 1365 minutes of play in 2024. The senior was recognized earlier this month by the organization as a United Soccer Coaches Division I Player to Watch.
Gold and the Cougars open their campaign on Thursday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m. against South Carolina.
