Twelve CAA Athletes Named To 2025 NFHCA Division I Watchlist

MANAHAWKIN, N.J. (August 28, 2025) – Twelve CAA Field Hockey student-athletes were named to the 2025 Division I Watchlist announced by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) on Thursday morning.
Three CAA programs were represented on the 195-person list from 64 Division I institutions. Towson garnered a conference-high five selections, while Drexel had four and Monmouth had three.
With six goals during the 2024 season, Anouk Westerink headlines the Towson unit after an All-CAA First Team campaign in her rookie year. Fellow Preseason All-CAA honoree Tessa Scheenstra found her name on the list, having been one of five CAA goalkeepers last season to average less than two goals against per game. Earning a CAA All-Rookie Team selection in 2024, Olivia Miller makes the list after starting all 18 games last season and posting four points. Ella Kaufman was honored for the second year in a row, while Megan Popp rounds out the Tigers' selections having been one of six Towson players to reach 1000 minutes of action.
The 2024 CAA Player of the Year and 2025 CAA Preseason Player of the Year, Valentine Van Hellemont, is one of a quartet of Drexel players to make the list, having been named an All-American by the organization less than a year ago. Goalkeeper Alana Poole saw her nam after ranking among the national leaders in goals-against average (.978 per game). Anna Castaldo finished last season with nine goals and 20 points to earn her spot, while Pili Lemoine contributed four goals and four assists from the midfield to claim the recognition.
Last season’s runners-up, Monmouth, had three selections, including Anna Moors, who led the CAA in scoring last season with 12 goals. CAA Rookie of the Year Milla Frye tallied 21 points on nine goals and three assists, while the trio was rounded out by CAA All-Rookie Team selection Lilly Ricks, who started all 19 games and totaled four goals and two assists.
