CAA Field Hockey Weekly Awards – Sept. 1, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 1, 2025) –Monmouth defender Anna Moors, Northeastern goalie Arabella Loveridge, and Hofstra goalie Luci Hollister earned CAA field hockey weekly award winners for the week ending on August 31
st.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Anna Moors, Monmouth
Junior | Defender | Tilburg, Noord-Brabant, Netherlands / Odulphus Lyceum
Last season’s top scorer in the conference picked up right where she left off, contributing eight points in Monmouth’s 2-0 weekend. Kicking off the Hawks’ season against University of California Berkeley, the junior tallied a goal in a 7-2 win. Moors was emphatic in Monmouth’s 9-1 victory over LIU just two days later, charting her first hat trick of the season.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Arabella Loveridge, Northeastern
Senior | Goalie | Auckland, New Zealand / Diocesan School for Girls
In her first game in a Huskies’ uniform, Loveridge shut out Stonehill’s offense to earn a 2-0 victory. The senior shot stopper made two saves across 60 minutes of play, as Northeastern earned its first shutout win since Sept. 8, 2024.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luci Hollister, Hofstra
Freshman | Goalie | Auckland, New Zealand / St. Cuthbert's College
Hollister helped Hofstra go 1-1 in her first two collegiate games, making seven saves between the posts. In her debut against No.18 Albany, the freshman made two stops in the defeat. Two days later, against Sacred Heart, Hollister tallied five saves to collect her first win and shutout as the Pride were 2-0 victors.
