CAA Men’s Soccer Weekly Awards – Sept. 1, 2025

RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 1, 2025) –Drexel midfielder Tiago Lima-Bittencourt, Elon goalkeeper Jackson Leavitt, and Elon midfielder Dominik Renz earned CAA men’s soccer weekly award winners for the week ending on August 31
st.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Tiago Lima-Bittencourt, Drexel
Junior | Midfielder | Curitiba, Brazil / Ardey Kell High School
In the Dragons' lone game of the week, Lima-Bittencourt lifted Drexel to its first conference win of the season with a pair of goal involvements in the 2-1 victory. Twenty-three minutes in, the junior dinked the ball into the goalmouth to assist the opener. Four minutes later, Lima-Bittencourt turned scorer firing one off the crossbar and into the net.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jackson Leavitt, Elon
Graduate Student | Goalkeeper | Allen, Texas / Allen
Leavitt started both Elon’s matches during the Phoenix 1-0-1 stretch, marking his first starts since 2023. Against Old Dominion on Monday, the Allen alum stopped the Monarchs' lone attempt on goal to collect his first full clean sheet of his career and earn Elon a 0-0 draw. Leavitt’s form continued in the Phoenix CAA opener against UNCW, reaching a career-high six saves to carry Marc Reeves side to a 2-1 win.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Dominik Renz, Elon
Midfielder | Ulm, Germany / Johann-Vanotti-Gymnasium Ehigen
Renz bookmarked his CAA debut with his first career goal in Elon’s 2-1 win over UNCW. Coming in the 38th minute, the German midfielder flipped the ball over the Seahawks' shot stopper from less than 12 yards out for what would prove to be the game winner. Renz also played 31 minutes in his collegiate debut against Old Dominion on Monday.
