RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 15, 2025)  Campbell’s Gwen Wolkow and Towson’s Ella Sanders split CAA Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Hofstra’s Julia Amorim and Charleston’s Caroline Noonan garner Defensive Player and Rookie of the Week recognition, respectively, on Monday.

CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Gwen Wolkow, Campbell
Senior | Outside Hitter | Downers Grove, Ill
Wolkow brought home MVP honors at the Queens Fall Classic after a monster weekend in Charlotte. The senior outside hitter logged 21 kills on .731 hitting in just three sets against The Citadel, good for top 10 marks in program history. Her 21 slams are the seventh-most in a three-setter for the Camels, while her swinging clip marked the eighth-best hitting percentage in a match in program history. At one point, Wolkow was swinging at a .904 clip (19-21) without an error. The night prior, Wolkow attacked the opposition frequently in a five-set thriller at Queens, logging 19 kills on .318 hitting in the match. The Downers Grove, Ill., native was also crucial defensively to route UNC Asheville, chipping in a team-high 14 digs to go with eight kills in the opening match of the weekend.

CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ella Sanders, Towson
Redshirt Sophomore | Right Side Hitter | Albuquerque, N.M.
Sanders boasted 59 kills, 70 digs and three double-doubles in the Tigers' 4-0 weekend. The redshirt sophomore racked up 15 kills and 12 digs in a five-set win over Iona to open the weekend. The New Mexico product posted a 10-kill, 23-dig performance against Ivy League foe Princeton to close out Friday night. Sanders registered a pair of 17-kill outings on Saturday to help Towson to four-set victories over Lafayette and Penn.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Julia Amorim, Hofstra
Freshman | Middle Blocker | Pavuna, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Amorim was outstanding for the Pride once again as 3.13 blocks per set helped the team to a perfect 3-0 week as Hofstra extended its season-opening win streak to seven. Amorim totaled 17 blocks in two appearances, while also adding six digs and five kills. After starting the week with three blocks and three kills in a win over Fordham, the freshman middle blocker had an all-time great performance against Temple at the net. Amorim rattled off 14 blocks, including two solo stops and a dozen block assists. The 14 blocks by Amorim against Temple are the most for a Hofstra player during the Pride's CAA era (since 2001). It is the most by a player in the CAA since Northeastern's Nyla Shepherd had 15 against Stony Brook on September 17, 2023.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Caroline Noonan, Charleston
Freshman | Middle Blocker | Charlotte, N.C.
Noonan was once again an impact at the net for Charleston, averaging 3.00 kills per set and a .427 hitting percentage. Noonan also added 11 total blocks, including five solo stops in the Cougars’ four-win week. In Friday's win over Youngstown State, Noonan had 14 kills and swung a .444 clip to go with six blocks. The freshman middle blocker averaged 3.20 kills per set at a .413 hitting percentage over the weekend.
