Hofstra’s Goddard Named To Top Drawer Soccer Team Of The Week

LONG BEACH, Calif. (Sept. 16, 2025) – Hofstra’s Laurie Goddard has been named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Division I Team of the Week.
 
Named CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week, Goddard scored three goals over two games- both of which were game-winning tallies. In the Pride’s 1-0 victory over Princeton, the 2025 CAA Preseason Player of the Year scored on a penalty kick to account for the lone goal of the contest.
 
Just a few days later in conference play, Goddard was back amongst the goals, scoring a brace, including one from the spot in lifting Hofstra over Stony Brook, 3-0. 
 
The Englishman leads the NCAA with four penalty kick goals, while he paces Hofstra and the CAA in goals (6) and points (13).
