CAA Football Places Three Teams In Latest FCS Top 25 Rankings

RICHMOND, Va. (September 22, 2025) – CAA Football had three teams ranked in this week’s FCS Top 25 polls released by Stats Perform and the AFCA.
Rhode Island (4-0) topped the group of CAA teams at No. 6 in the Stats poll and No. 7 in the AFCA poll following a 28-7 victory over LIU last week. The Rams, who are 4-0 for just the fourth time in program history, travel to FBS member Western Michigan on Saturday.
Monmouth (3-1) climbed to No. 14 in the AFCA rankings and No. 16 in the Stats rankings after a 51-33 triumph over nationally ranked Villanova last Saturday. The Hawks are off this week.
Villanova (1-2) dropped to No. 20 in the Stats poll and No. 22 in the AFCA poll following the loss at nationally ranked Monmouth. The Wildcats entertain William & Mary on Saturday.
New Hampshire (2-2) fell out of the Top 25 following a 27-20 setback at Dartmouth, but received votes in both polls.
