RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 24, 2025) – North Carolina A&T’s
Camilo Marin picked up CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week recognition on Wednesday after registering his first career first-place finish.

Marin helped North Carolina A&T secure the top spot at the Thomas W. Dortch Jr HBCU Collegiate Golf Classic with medalist honors, shooting a 3-under 139 at the Laurel Springs Golf Course. The junior from Cali, Colombia, became the first Aggie to win medalist honors since Diego Gonzalez won the UMES Challenge on October 26, 2021. Marin shot a 69 in the opening round of action, draining six birdies, including five on the back nine. He closed out the tournament by going bogey-free over the final 12 holes and sinking a pair of birdies to post a 1-under 70 in the final round.
