RICHMOND, Va. – UNCW’s Hannah Altman captured CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday after securing a top-five finish at the Lady Paladin Invitational at the Furman University Golf Course.
 
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Altman posted a fifth-place finish at 5-under 211 at the Lady Paladin Invitational. Going up against a pair of top teams nationally in Alabama and Florida Gulf Coast, the reigning individual CAA champion scored a personal-best 68 score with a bogey-free opening round. She continued to hit the ball well as Altman added four more birdies on the front nine to open the second round before logging a 2-under 70. Altman finished the tournament with 15 total birdies to pace the Seahawks.
