RICHMOND, Va. – The CAA and The Field of 68 will team up for the third consecutive year to host the conference’s annual Basketball Media Day.
The Field of 68 will host a live show on Thursday, Oct. 2, with coach interviews from all 26 of the league’s programs along with the men’s and women’s preseason All-CAA teams and players of the year.
The men’s media day show, hosted by Jeff Goodman and Rob Dauster, begins at 10 a.m., followed by the women’s show at 1 p.m., with Amanda Poole and Monika Moore handling host duties.
The Field of 68 Media Network debuted in 2020 by longtime college basketball reporters Goodman and Dauster. The duo has built an expansive series of shows and podcasts hosted by some of the top reporters and analysts in college basketball. The Field of 68’s After Dark show on YouTube has become must-watch viewing for fans during the college basketball season and includes interviews with coaches and student-athletes from across the country. The prominent college basketball network added a new podcast in September 2025, “The Mid-Major Show,” with Vince Wolfram, Rocco Miller and Sean Paul. In addition to its shows, the Field of 68 produces a daily newsletter with the latest information from the world of college basketball.
The CAA enters the 2025-26 campaign with both of its reigning CAA Player of the Year honorees, Towson’s
Tyler Tejada and Charleston’s
Taryn Barbot, returning to their respective teams.
UNCW captured its league-record seventh CAA men’s basketball championship a year ago and held a second-half lead on eventual Elite Eight team Texas Tech in the NCAA Tournament. Regular season champion Towson reached the 20-win mark for the fourth consecutive year and Charleston increased its victory total to 72 over the past three seasons.
Four women’s basketball programs – Campbell, Charleston, North Carolina A&T, William & Mary – are fresh off national postseason appearances. The Tribe made its first-ever appearance in the NCAA Tournament and knocked off High Point, 69-63, in their First Four matchup. The Camels and Cougars also secured a win in their respective opening matchups in the Women’s National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).
The Field of 68 CAA Basketball Media Day show will air live on
