RICHMOND, Va. (September 29, 2025) – Three CAA Football teams are ranked in this week’s FCS Top 25 polls released by Stats Perform and the AFCA.

Rhode Island (4-1) slipped to No. 8 in the Stats rankings and No. 10 in the AFCA rankings following a 47-14 setback at FBS member Western Michigan last week. The Rams battle rival Brown for the Governor’s Cup on Friday night.

Monmouth (3-1) was off last week but moved up to No. 12 in the AFCA rankings and No. 14 in the Stats rankings. The Hawks return to action Saturday as they host Delaware State in their final non-conference contest.

Villanova (2-2) rose to No. 18 in the Stats poll and No. 19 in the AFCA poll after a 31-24 victory over William & Mary last week. The Wildcats travel to New Hampshire on Saturday.
New Hampshire (3-2), which beat UAlbany 24-6 last week, continued to receive votes in both polls, while Stony Brook (2-3) picked up votes in the AFCA poll after rolling past Merrimack, 35-10.
