RICHMOND, Va. – Charleston center Christian Reeves and N.C. A&T guard Lewis Walker lit up the stat sheet for their teams en route to capturing CAA Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, on Monday.

CAA PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Christian Reeves, Charleston
Redshirt Junior | Center | Charlotte, N.C.
Reeves led the Cougars to wins over Campbell and Elon last week, averaging a double-double with 25.0 ppg and 13.5 rpg. The Cougars’ big man went nearly perfect from the floor with an 87.0% shooting clip from the field (20-23 FG). He also logged 10 of his 27 rebounds on the offensive glass. Reeves opened the week with 21 points on a career-high nine made field goals to go with nine rebounds in a thrilling 87-83 win over the Camels. The Charlotte, N.C., native followed up with new career highs after rattling off 29 points on 11-of-12 shooting inside the arc, along with 18 rebounds in an 80-70 victory over the Phoenix. His 18 boards were the seventh-most in a single game in school history. Reeves also became the first CAA player to log at least 29 points and 18 rebounds against an NCAA Division I opponent since Towson’s Jerrelle Benimon went off for 30 points and 18 boards against Temple on Dec. 12, 2012.

CAA ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Lewis Walker, N.C. A&T
Redshirt Freshman | Forward | Winston-Salem, N.C.
Walker led the Aggies to two of their biggest wins over Hofstra and Towson since joining the CAA. Across the team's two victories, Walker posted 28.5 points per game, shooting 16-for-27 (.593) from the field, 7-for-10 (.700) from 3-point range and 18-for-19 (.947) from the free-throw line. He also chipped in 7.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. After a Monday night setback to Hampton, Walker flipped the switch with 24 points on 7-for-12 shooting, seven rebounds and two assists across 40 minutes of work to help the Aggies secure a 79-78 win over Hofstra on Thursday night. Walker helped the Aggies rally from a 16-point first-half deficit. Walker followed up by matching a season-high 33 points on 9-of-15 shooting to go with seven rebounds and four assists. He was also 5-for-7 from 3-point range and 10-for-11 from the charity stripe in the Aggies' 80-73 win over the Tigers, snapping their four-game winning streak. Walker tied A&T's single-game freshman scoring record, which he set nine days earlier at William & Mary.
