CAA Men’s Soccer Weekly Awards – Oct. 5, 2026
RICHMOND, Va. -- Stony Brook’s Ryan Farr was named the CAA Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Elon’s Joe Taylor earned Defensive Player of the Week honors. Charleston’s Bemanzi Alibaruho rounded out the weekly awards, earning Rookie of the Week recognition on Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Ryan Farr, Stony Brook

Farr powered Stony Brook to a 2-0 week, totaling six points on two goals and two assists. The sophomore opened the week with the game-winning goal in Monday's 2-1 victory over Monmouth. Farr then followed with a four-point performance against Hofstra, contributing to all three goals with one goal and two assists in a 3-0 shutout triumph.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Joe Taylor, Elon
Sr. | D | Rugby, England
Taylor anchored the Phoenix back line in a pair of victories last week. The senior defender played 60 minutes in Tuesday's 3-1 win over USC Upstate, helping limit the Spartans to just five shots. Taylor then scored the game-winning goal in the 62nd minute of Saturday's 3-1 CAA victory over William & Mary.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Bemanzi Alibaruho, Charleston
R-Fr. | M | Jacksonville, Fla.
Alibaruho scored the game-winning goal in his first career start en route to Charleston's 2-1 victory over Campbell on Saturday. The Jacksonville, Fla., native's 67th-minute strike secured the Cougars' second CAA win of the season.
