Richmond, Va. -- Following his first career CAA Offensive Player of the Week selection, Stony Brook sophomore forward Ryan Farr has been named to TopDrawerSoccer.com’s National Team of the Week, the organization announced on Tuesday.

Farr powered the Seawolves to a 2-0 week, factoring in four of Stony Brook’s five goals. The Seawolves’ striker notched two goals and a pair of assists across 122 minutes of work. The sophomore opened the week by delivering the game-winning goal in Stony Brook’s 2-1 victory over Monmouth on Monday. He followed that performance with a four-point outing in Stony Brook’s 3-0 shutout victory over Hofstra. Farr contributed to all three goals in the team’s second conference win of the week, setting up Nelson Reynoso and Alex Fleury before scoring at the penalty dot in the 68th minute.

Following last week’s two victories, the Seawolves are 4-1 in their last five contests. Stony Brook returns to action on Sunday, traveling to George Mason for a 5 p.m. matchup. The Seawolves will square off with the Patriots for just the second time in program history.
