Richmond, Va. – Elon defender Magnus Jacobsen garnered a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer.com’s National Team of the Week, while Stony Brook’s Kristoffer Aarflot earned an honorable mention, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.

Jacobsen scored his third goal of the season and played a team-high 88 minutes on Saturday night in Elon's 3-0 victory over Campbell at Rudd Field. The 28th-minute goal was also Jacobsen's second in conference play. The sophomore was one of two Phoenix defenders to score against the Camels with Joe Taylor also netting a goal. The reigning CAA Defensive Player of the Week was also a guiding factor in holding Campbell to just five shots, none of which were put on frame. Jacobsen has helped Elon's back line produce three straight clean sheets and over 300 consecutive minutes of shutout soccer.

Aarflot opened the Seawolves’ 6-0 victory over Northeastern with a brace. The Oslo, Norway product scored just 3:39 into the regular-season finale, tucking away a pass from Tobias Hansen to make it 1-0. Aarflot connected again with Hansen at the seven minutes to double Stony Brook’s lead less than 11 minutes into the contest. The victory also helped the Seawolves lock in the North Division’s No. 1 seed in the 2026 CAA Men’s Soccer Championship.
