Centers Chol Machot and Christian Reeves combined for 35 points and nine blocks as Charleston (17-10, 10-4 CAA) secured a 62-57 victory at Campbell (12-14, 6-7 CAA). Reeves led the charge with his sixth double-double of the season, notching 18 points on a perfect 9-of-9 shooting from the floor with 15 boards and three swats. Machot logged 17 points and six stuffs in 23 minutes off the bench. The Cougars held the Camels to a 9.5% shooting clip from distance (2-21 3FG). Campbell’s Jeremiah Johnson scored 16 points in a full 40 minutes of work.
The two teams went back and forth to open the game, with neither squad leading by more than one possession over the first nine minutes. CofC’s Chris Davis Jr. and Jaxon Prunty each connected on a trifecta to spark an 8-2 spree that put the visitors ahead by five, 21-16. Reeves went a perfect 6-for-6 from the floor in the first half and pulled down 10 rebounds to log a double-double in the first 15:34 of the game, helping the Cougars to a double-digit edge, 32-22. The Camels’ Jeremiah Johnson scored the final six points of the half to trail by just eight, 36-28, at the break.
Campbell surged out of the gate and took a two-point lead before the first media timeout after utilizing a 14-4 run to open the frame. The Camels watched Dovydas Butka finish in close to cap off a stretch of 14 unanswered points at the tail end of the scoring spree at 11:54. The Camels’ big man finished with 11 points and six rebounds. The Cougars’ Machot took control over the next eight minutes, scoring 12 straight points to help CofC reclaim a 58-53 lead. The Camels came to within one point down the stretch before Charleston closed the game at the free-throw line.
Monmouth 72, Towson 71

Justin Ray’s late 3-pointer with under 30 seconds to play lifted Monmouth (14-12, 8-5 CAA) to a 72-71 victory over Towson (14-13, 6-8 CAA). The sharpshooter saw three of his four makes go down from distance en route to a 15-point performance. Kavion McClain led five Hawks in double figures with 17 points and five assists. Andrew Ball, Stefanos Spartalis and Jason Rivera-Torres chipped in 10 points apiece, with the latter notching 13 boards, five assists and five steals. The Tigers’ Dylan Williamson scored a game-high 27 points in 40 minutes of work.
Williamson guided Towson out to a 16-6 lead, scoring 10 points with a pair of triples and midrange makes through the first seven minutes of action. Monmouth rattled off nine straight points, including a trey from Rivera-Torres to close out the run and pull within one, 16-15, at 10:31. McClain, Ray and Rivera-Torres all connected from distance shortly after to claim a 24-21 lead with six minutes to play in the first half. The Hawks took a two-point lead, 33-31, into the break.
Another opening 10-4 surge started from distance as Ryan Conway connected on a trey to help Towson take a 41-37 advantage. After a Williamson triple bumped the lead to seven, Andrew Ball and McClain went back-to-back from distance, part of a 13-4 scoring spree to take a two-point edge, 50-48. Towson retaliated with an 11-2 run of its own, only to be countered by five unanswered tallies from McClain to bring the Hawks back to within two, 59-57, at 7:24. It remained a two-possession game the rest of the way until the Hawks’ Ray helped close the game on an 8-2 run. After starting the spree with an and-one through contact, the sophomore guard sank the eventual game-winning trey with 27 seconds on the clock to seal the victory. The Tigers’ Tyler Tejada chipped in 16 points and five boards, while Jack Doumbia Jr. rounded out those in double figures with an 11-point, eight-rebound effort.
