Gus Langtry are the CAA men’s lacrosse weekly award winners for the week ending on February 15.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mikey Weisshaar, Towson
Senior | Attack | Arnold, Md. / Archbishop Spalding, H.S.
Weisshaar had a dominant showing in Towson’s 1-1 week, recording four or more points in both matchups. Against No. 16 Johns Hopkins, the CAA Preseason Player of the Year netted four times. Helping the Tigers earn their first win of the season against Navy, Weisshaar scored two while also assisting three. He is now tied for fourth all-time in career goals in Towson history with 113, tying with Jonathan Engelke from 2004-08.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Matt Nilan, Towson
Redshirt-Junior | Goalkeeper | Bayport, N.Y. / Bayport-Blue Point H.S.
Nilan had a career day in goal against Navy to earn the Tigers a 12-8 win. The redshirt-junior shot stopper recorded a personal-best 18 saves on 26 shots on goal. Nilan’s tally was the most in a game for a Towson goalkeeper since 2023. The Bayport, N.Y. resident also had 10 saves in the loss to No. 16 Johns Hopkins.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Gus Langtry, Hofstra

Langtry had a strong outing in Hofstra’s matchup against Siena. The Colorado native posted his first-career hat-trick with three goals against the MAAC Champions. Parker also added a ground ball and a caused turnover against the Saints.
