Minouche Rooijmans finished among some of the nation’s best golfers at the Purdue Puerto Rico Classic to earn CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK

Rooijmans went to Puerto Rico and garnered a top-15 finish in a loaded field that featured nine programs ranked inside the top 50, according to Clippd. Furthermore, the junior hung around with 11 golfers who received top 100 rankings, and she finished tied with three of them. The Eersel, Netherlands product opened the competition with four birdies on the front nine before finishing the round with a 2-under 70. Rooijmans followed up with a bogey-free second round, also posting another 2-under 70. The Seahawks’ top finisher logged a 3-under 213 to finish tied for 15
th in the field of 101 golfers.
