UNCW's Snowden Competes At NCAA Women's Swimming Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (March 19, 2026) – UNCW senior Cameron Snowden made her second straight appearance at the NCAA Women’s Swimming Championship on Thursday morning, becoming the first Seahawks’ swimmer to ever achieve that feat.
Snowden competed in her signature event, the 100 butterfly, and posted a 38th place finish with a time of 52.37 during the preliminaries at the McAuley Aquatic Center on the campus of Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Ga. Last year, Snowden placed 19
th in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championship, setting a conference record with a time of 51.57.
Snowden was chosen as the Most Outstanding Swimmer at the 2026 CAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship after earning gold in the 50 free (22.39), 100 fly (52.06) and 100 free (48.88). She was also part of first-place performances for UNCW in the 200 medley relay and 400 medley relay.
