CAA Announces Tiebreaker Scenarios for the 2026 Credit Union 1 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (Mar. 6, 2026) – With the regular season in women's basketball coming to a close on Saturday, the CAA has announced its tiebreaker scenarios for the upcoming 2026 Credit Union 1 CAA Women’s Basketball Championship.
Charleston clinched the CAA Regular Season Title and the No. 1 seed on Thursday night with a 66-43 win over Stony Brook. Drexel and Stony Brook have claimed a double bye into the quarterfinals, with the rest of the seedings still to be decided.

Twelve teams will hit the court on Saturday between 12 and 7 p.m. for a chance at a higher seed in the conference tournament. For a full schedule of where to catch your team in action on the final day of conference play, see below.
