RICHMOND, Va. – In a week filled with three medalist honorees, Elon’s William Carr and UNCW’s Gray Mitchum captured CAA Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week, while the Seahawks' Alexis Faieta battled to shoot under par in a loaded field to lock up Women’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.

Carr picked up individual medalist honors at the Cutter Creek Intercollegiate with an 8-under 208 to help Elon to a share of the team title. After shooting par to open the event, the freshman rallied on the front nine to sink four birdies and finish at 1-under in round two. Carr rallied in the final round with a bogey-free 7-under 65 in the third round.
