SOUTHPORT, N.C. – The CAA Women’s Golf Championship returns to The Reserve Club at St. James for a 54-hole tournament that begins Friday in North Carolina.
Nine CAA members will compete for team and individual titles on the par-72, 6,022-yard course, with tee times starting on Friday and Saturday at 8:30 a.m., followed by an 8 a.m. start on Sunday. The 2026 tournament marks the 12th CAA Women’s Golf Championship to be held at The Clubs at St. James (2012-16, 2018-19, 2022-26).
Live scoring, pairings, results and interviews will be available at CAASports.com/WGolf.
UNCW’s Hannah Altman will look to defend her individual title this weekend, becoming the fifth Seahawk in program history to capture the conference championship. The senior will also look to become the first golfer to secure back-to-back crowns since UNCW’s Lyberty Anderson in 2017 and 2018. Altman will also try to etch her name in the history book again as a two-time winner, joining Anderson, Delaware’s Andi Slane (2015, ’16) and Georgia State’s Charlotte Lorentzen (2010, ’12).
Charleston will look to secure its fourth CAA crown in the last five seasons and seventh overall after edging out UNCW and matching the program record for the lowest team score at +16 in last year’s tournament. The Cougars enter the weekend slate ranked No. 58, according to Clipp’d. 2025 CAA runner-up Adrian Anderson will look to help guide Charleston back into the top spot this season, alongside fellow ranked teammate No. 103 Molly Hardwick.
UNCW is the second-ranked CAA team entering the postseason slate, sitting at No. 59 in the Clipp’d rankings. The Seahawks will look to claim their sixth conference title after back-to-back runner-up finishes in 2024 and 2025. Additionally, UNCW has won twice at St. James (2012, 2019). Along with Altman, fellow senior Victoria Levy finds herself among the Clipp’d top 200 golfers, ranking No. 197 entering Friday’s opening round.
Elon will join the Seahawks and the Cougars for the later tee-time, beginning on the first hole at 9:20 a.m.
Campbell, North Carolina A&T and Towson will open the event from the first hole at 8:30 a.m. The Aggies’ Ekaterina Prokhorova picked up four CAA Women’s Golfer of the Week awards after stellar play all season that featured three individual titles and six top-five finishes.
Three teams – William & Mary, Monmouth and Hofstra – begin Friday on the back nine at 8:30 a.m.
