RICHMOND, Va. (April 2, 2026) – The CAA is pleased to announce that TrackMan will serve as the exclusive tracking provider for the conference during the 2026 baseball season.
Trackman uses patented Optically Enhanced Radar Tracking (OERT) to deliver incredible results from a single, small system. The TrackMan stadium system is used by most CAA baseball programs and over 385 colleges across the country.
The CAA will utilize TrackMan technology to provide in-game data and analytics to coaches and staff via in-dugout tablets. The conference will also take advantage of TrackMan technology to evaluate and train umpires.
“The CAA has built a reputation as one of the top mid-major baseball conferences in the country, and partnering with a best-in-class company like TrackMan makes our programs even stronger,” CAA Commissioner Joe D’Antonio said. “The ability to utilize data via in-dugout tablets benefits our coaches and student-athletes and we look forward to using the technology to assist with the training of our umpires.”
TrackMan is used by all 30 Major League Teams, top amateur organizations, prominent collegiate summer leagues and is embedded in more than 1,000 stadiums around the globe.
“TrackMan has served most CAA programs over the past several seasons, helping advance their player development initiatives,” said TrackMan Director James Snikeris. “We’re excited to keep supporting these programs and to expand our role by partnering with the CAA to deliver data for umpire evaluation as well as in-game tracking for coaches. We look forward to strengthening this partnership and enhancing the overall experience for both student-athletes, coaches and fans.”
