RICHMOND, Va. (Apr. 28, 2026) –Elon sophomore Mia Stimpson, Elon junior Jaqueline Zacharias, William & Mary junior Hayes Trapp, and William & Mary freshman Uriah Harris earned CAA outdoor track and field weekly award recognition for their performances last weekend.
WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Mia Stimpson, Elon
Sophomore | Sprinter | Atlanta, Ga. / North Atlanta High School
Stimpson set a personal record and cracked the Phoenix’s top-three all-time performances in the 100m hurdles at the Charlotte Invitational. The sophomore ran the event at a 13.93 pace to break into the CAA’s top-five showings this season. Stimpson also contributed to a 46.84 race in the 4x100m relay, marking the sixth fastest time in the conference this campaign.
WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jaqueline Zacharias, Elon
Junior | Javelin | Green Bay, WI. / Notre Dame Academy
Zacharias won the javelin at the Charlotte Invitational with a 46.01m (150’ 11”) throw. The Green Bay native remains the CAA leader in the event by more than three meters.
MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Hayes Trapp, William & Mary
Junior | Distance | Aiken, S.C. / Augusta prep
Trapp delivered a standout performance at the Penn Relays, placing third in the 10,000m. With a time of 29:21.52, the Augusta Prep alumni earned a podium finish in one of the premier collegiate distance events of the weekend. Trapp continues to rank first in the conference in the event.

Uriah Harris, William & Mary
Freshman | Throws | Richmond, Va. / Hermitage
Harris turned in a strong weekend at the Penn Relays, recording a pair of top-six finishes. The freshman thrower placed sixth in the shot put with a mark of 17.11m (56’ 1.75”) before adding another sixth-place finish in the discus at 53.52m (175’ 7”).
