RICHMOND, Va. – The 2026 CAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship begins on Thursday from Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium in Stony Brook, N.Y.

All three games of the 2026 CAA Women’s Lacrosse Tournament will be broadcast live on FloCollege, with Jonny Wincott and Jack Barteck on the call. Fans can also stay up-to-date and follow along on the CAA Tournament Central at https://caasports.com/WLax.

Top-seeded Stony Brook (15-2, 7-0 CAA) emerged as the CAA’s regular season champion for the fourth consecutive season. The Seawolves will look to become just the second program in league history to secure four straight CAA Tournament crowns, joining James Madison, which won from 2017-21, excluding the canceled 2020 championship due to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

Fourth-seeded Phoenix (7-9, 3-4 CAA) will look to become just the second CAA team to capture the conference title as the No. 4 seed, joining the 2009 Towson team. The Phoenix will also try to be the first fourth seed to make the championship game since 2015.

Elon and Stony Brook will square off for the third straight season in the CAA semifinals when the two programs face off at noon. The Seawolves picked up a 15-4 victory over the Phoenix on April 24, moving to 36-0 against CAA opponents (regular season and postseason). SBU had 10 different goal scorers in the win, with Julia Fusco leading the charge with a hat trick and an assist.

No. 2 seed Hofstra (10-6, 6-1 CAA) returns to the postseason field for the first time since 2024 and will begin their quest for its second CAA women’s lacrosse title on Thursday. The Pride will try to become just the ninth No. 2 seed to secure the CAA crown and the first since Drexel in 2022. Hofstra is the second seed for just the second time in program history, joining the 2006 squad.

No. 3 seed Towson (7-10, 5-2 CAA) also makes its return to the field for the first time since 2023. The Tigers will look to bring their eighth CAA women’s lacrosse championship back to Maryland. Towson will try to win the conference tournament as the No. 3 seed for the second time in program history, being the last CAA team to do so in 2008. The third seed has secured the league title just three times in total.

The Pride edged out the Tigers, 13-10, in their lone regular-season meeting. The two programs will square off in the postseason for the first time since the 2019 CAA Semifinals, where Hofstra earned an 11-8 victory. The Pride will look to claim its first conference crown since 2007, while Towson will try and secure its first since the 2016 campaign.
