Jack Cavalieri. are the CAA men’s lacrosse weekly award winners for the week ending on April 5.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Joaquin Villagomez, Towson
Redshirt-Junior | Attack | Severna Park, Md. / Severna Park H.S.
Villagomez collected his third weekly award of the season after producing five points in a 15-10 win over Monmouth. The Severna Park H.S. alumni scored three goals alongside two assists for his ninth consecutive game with at least three points. Villagomez also scooped up a team-high five ground balls.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Shea Kennedy, Hofstra
Redshirt-Sophomore | Annapolis, Md. / St. Mary’s School
Kennedy was spectacular in net for the Pride, helping his team earn a 13-6 win over Fairfield. The 2025 All-CAA second team selection posted 15 saves, with 10 coming in the second half to ward off a Stags’ comeback. Kennedy has seven double-digit save games this season and is up to 17 in his career.

Jack Cavalieri, Stony Brook

Cavalieri set season highs as Stony Brook earned a 14-11 win over MAAC-foe Marist. The first-year attacker totaled four points on the day, netting a hat trick and adding a helper to scoresheet. Cavalieri cracked the Seawolves’ top-five scorers this season, reaching eight after his performance against the Red Foxes.
