RICHMOND, Va. – The Charleston women’s golf team and UNCW’s Victoria Levy closed out the 2025-26 campaign on Wednesday with valiant efforts in the NCAA Women’s Golf Regionals.
The Cougars were led by a pair of top-15 finishers in Carys Fennessy and Emilie von Finckenstein. The CAA Rookie of the Year led the charge with a 3-under 213 and finished better than 18 ranked golfers, according to Clipp’d. Fennessy broke even twice in the national postseason competition and nearly went bogey-free in the second round with her 3-under 69 at the University of Louisville Golf Course.
Von Finckenstein dazzled out of the gate with an impressive 4-under 68 in the opening round of the Louisville Regional. After battling through a tough second round, the junior closed the tournament with par or better on 17 of her final 18 holes to finish 1-under for the round and 2-under for the event. Charleston finished in 10th out of the 12-team field.
UNCW’s Levy put forth her best effort at the challenging UNC Finley Golf Course in the Chapel Hill Regional, finishing tied for 43rd in the competition. The Swiss product closed out her season with a trio of top-two finishes under her belt.
