RICHMOND, Va. (May 5, 2026) –Elon junior Jenna Gilman, William & Mary freshman Kennedy Reynolds, Towson senior Leeann Redlo, UNCW senior Cameron Wright, and Monmouth graduate student  Evan Niedrowski earned CAA outdoor track and field weekly award recognition for their performances last weekend.
 
CO-WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jenna Gilman, Elon
Junior | Mid-Distance | Easton, Ma. / Oliver Ames

Gilman broke her own school record and set a personal-best time at the Duke Twilight. Running the 800m with a 2:06.08 pace, the junior moved to second in the conference this season and ranks 123rd nationally.
 

CO-WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Kennedy Reynolds, William & Mary
Freshman | Sprints | Atlanta, Ga. / Mount Vernon

Reynolds delivered a historic performance at the Duke Twilight, breaking the William & Mary program record in the 400m hurdles. The first year posted a personal-best 59.26 pace to establish a new school freshman record and become the first athlete in Tribe history to break the one-minute barrier in the event.


WOMEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Leeann Redlo, Towson
Senior | Bayport, N.Y. / Bayport Bluepoint High School

Redlo placed first at the East Coast Relays in the high jump, resetting a 19-year-old program record. The Bayport, N.Y. native leapt 1.82m (5 ‘ 11.5”) to take second place in the CAA and 27th nationally.
 

MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Cameron Wright, UNCW
Senior | Sprints/Hurdles | Charlotte, N.C. / Weddington

Wright broke into the nation’s top-80 performances with his time in the 110m hurdles at the Duke Twilight. The Weddington alumni clocked a 13.95 pace to place second and rank fourth in program history. Wright is the first Seahawk to post a top-five program performance since 2025.

MEN’S FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Evan Niedrowski, Monmouth
Graduate Student | Throws | Wyomissing, Pa. / Wyomissing Area High School

Niedrowski took home gold at the Larry Ellis Invitational, notching the CAA’s best performance in the javelin this season. The graduate student recorded a 68.03m (223’ 2”) distance to crack the nation’s top 50.
