Northeastern’s Eliza Teplow Tabbed to TopDrawerSoccer’s Women's Soccer National Team of the Week

RICHMOND, Va. – After repeating as the CAA’s Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, Northeastern goalkeeper
Eliza Teplow garnered a spot on TopDrawerSoccer.com’s National Team of the Week, as announced by the organization on Tuesday.
The Wellesley, Mass., native has not allowed a goal this season and is riding a 485-minute shutout streak dating back to last year. Her early success has also helped Northeastern record four straight clean sheets for the first time since 2023.
Teplow posted back-to-back shutouts for the second consecutive week, while logging 10 saves across the two contests. The reigning CAA Goalkeeper of the Year opened the week by stuffing three attempts on target in a tough 0-0 draw at Rhode Island. The Huskies’ keeper followed up with a seven-save effort against Providence, pushing her CAA-leading total to 23 stops (8
th in NCAA).
The senior netminder is among elite company entering week three as one of three goalies nationally to record four clean sheets, joining Long Beach State’s Aurora Schuck and Saint Mary’s Soraya Souvanaphong. Teplow has outpaced her counterparts single-handedly with more saves (23) in her four shutouts than Schuck (11) and Souvanaphong (8) combined.
