CAA Women in Sports Spotlight - Campbell’s Hailey Heytvelt

RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 2, 2026) - CAA Director of Creative Content and Reporter Amanda Poole spoke with Campbell volleyball player Hailey Heytvelt about her work with Bring It USA this past summer in the first Women in Sports Spotlight of the 2026-27 season on Wednesday.
Created in 1996, the organization specializes in international volleyball tours and events, as well as professional career development.
The junior middle blocker traveled with a team to Botswana before moving on to Italy, Greece, and Croatia the following month.
“The biggest impact I had from the Africa trip were the volleyball clinics,” Heytvelt said. “The kids are so excited and so enthusiastic [to play].”
Now back stateside, Heytvelt is already setting the tone for a new season in Buies Creek and is armed with a new perspective.
