Four of the eight games on Saturday's schedule are conference matchups. Sacred Heart plays its home opener versus UNH, while Elon is home for the second straight week against Maine. Rhode Island hits the road for the fourth time in five weeks at North Carolina A&T, and Hampton welcomes a Campbell squad that is unbeaten against FCS foes. Home teams are 6-3 thus far in CAA competition.
This week's non-conference schedule includes road matchups against three FCS leagues. After the CAA split two games against the Ivy League last Saturday, Monmouth travels to Dartmouth and UAlbany heads to Princeton. Stony Brook makes the short trip to Fordham and Towson faces Delaware State. CAA teams are 9-8 this season against non-conference FCS competition.
