Damisi Osibodu secured CAA Volleyball Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week honors, respectively, while UNCW setter
Addi Vaughn nabbed Rookie of the Week recognition on Monday.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Ella Sanders, Stony Brook
Redshirt Junior | OH | Albuquerque, N.M.
Sanders led the Seawolves with 50 total kills, averaging 3.85 kills per set as the Seawolves went 3-0 in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational. The redshirt junior finished second on the team with 40 digs to go with four aces and nine total blocks. Stony Brook’s outside hitter rattled off 10 kills and seven assists against Penn, before recording her first double-double of the season versus Coppin State. Sanders rattled off a career-high 22 kills and six blocks, while digging out 22 balls in a five-set win over the Eagles. Her performance against Coppin State made her the first Seawolf since October 2024 to record 20-plus kills and 20-plus digs in a match. In the weekend finale, Sanders recorded another double-double with 18 kills on a .350 hitting percentage with 11 digs en route to being named Tournament MVP.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Damisi Osibodu, Stony Brook
Sophomore | MB | Katy, Texas
Osibodu led the Seawolves at the net with 21 total blocks, good for 1.62 per set as Stony Brook went a perfect 3-0 in the Kristen Dickmann Invitational. The sophomore middle blocker earned All-Tournament Team honors while chipping in 20 kills on the weekend. She opened the weekend slate with six blocks and added a career-high 10 kills against Penn. Osibodu contributed nine blocks and seven kills versus Coppin State, followed by three kills and six blocks against Navy.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Addi Vaughn, UNCW
Freshman | Setter | Sellersburg, Ind.
Vaughn stepped in last weekend and started a pair of matches against Alabama State and Gardner-Webb. The freshman setter handed out 38 assists in a four-set win over Alabama State in her first collegiate start. The Sellersburg, Ind., native followed with a season-best 48-assist effort in the following match at Gardner-Webb. Her 48 helpers were the most by a UNCW freshman since Brynn Montgomery dished out 48 on Oct. 22, 2017, against Hofstra. Vaughn also added 12 and 13 digs against Alabama State and Gardner-Webb, respectively, to record her first two double-doubles of the season.
