The CAA has partnered with Comcast SportsNet since the conference's inception in 1985. AMERICAN SPORTS NETWORK The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) reached a three-year agreement with Sinclair Broadcast Group July 17, 2014. The television partnership, which runs through 2016-17, provides live television coverage of CAA Men’s and Women’s Basketball and CAA Football on the American Sports Network (ASN). The agreement provides television coverage from several of the league’s conference championships including Baseball, Softball, Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Volleyball and Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse. The CAA was one of five Division I conferences to enter into comprehensive sports rights agreements with Sinclair and ASN, which launched production August 30, 2014. CAA.TV CAA.TV, the league's free digital portal, can be accessed from any internet connected device and will give league fans access to nearly every live event being contested across the conference. CAA.TV will also feature rich livestat functionality for nearly every game in the CAA, as well as social media integration which will allow fans to be connected across the conference while watching all the action. All Comcast SportsNet Regional and American Sports Networks games simulcast on CAA.TV will be subject to online blackout restrictions.
