Player of the Week:
Marta Machos, Sr.,
OPP, Towson
Machos had a big weekend to lead the Tigers to victories
over George Mason and James Madison. She led the team with 32 kills, while
averaging 3.56 per set over the weekend. Machos hit .258 with six digs and four
blocks. On Friday at George Mason, Machos tied for the team lead in kills with
15. She added two digs and two blocks in the match to help lead the Tigers to
the 3-1 victory. In Sunday's thrilling five-set win over James Madison, Machos
matched her career-high with 17 kills while hitting .294. Six of Machos' kills
came in the crucial fourth set win, which allowed the Tigers to tie the match
at 2-2 and force a fifth set. She added four digs, two blocks and an assist in
the contest.

Player of the Week:
Katie Daorai, Jr., L,
James Madison
Daorai averaged 4.88 digs per set to help JMU split a pair
of CAA matches over the weekend. Daorai had 16 digs in a three-set sweep over
Delaware, making her just the 10th player in school history to surpass 1,000 career
digs. She now sits in sixth-place in school history with 1,035 career digs as
just a junior. Daorai followed up her performance against the Blue Hens with a
match-high 23 digs in a five-set loss to Towson. Daorai leads the Dukes with
293 digs and 4.65 digs per set this season.
CAA Volleyball Rookie
of the Week:
Katie Hillman, Fr., UTL,
Delaware
Hillman led Delaware to a 1-1 record last weekend with a
thrilling 3-2 win over George Mason Saturday night. Hillman posted a career and
season-high 20 kills in the win over the Patriots and added nine digs. She led
team with 30 kills (3.75 pg) for the week and a .296 hitting pct and has
double-figure kills in four of the last five matches. Hillman ranks second on
the team with 178 kills and 2.47 kills per set.

UNCW junior libero
Haley Collins moved into sole possession of sixth place on the school's
all-time career digs list Saturday afternoon against Georgia State. Collins has
amassed 1,069 career digs following 23 against the Panthers, and is just six
digs shy of fifth place.
Towson extended its win streak to 12 straight matches
following road wins over George Mason and James Madison last weekend. The 12
straight victories is the longest win streak during Coach Bruce Atkinson's
three year tenure at Towson and is the longest win streak in the CAA this
season.
George Mason's Lana Zonjic set a new career high with 23
kills Friday night against Towson.
Georgia State's Jamiee Freeman recorded a double-double
with 14 kills and 25 digs to lead GSU to its first conference win over UNCW
Saturday afternoon.
Delaware's Alissa Alker moved into ninth all-time on the
UD career blocks list with 356.
Northeastern posted its 10th 3-0 sweep of the season
Saturday night against Hofstra.
William & Mary's Shaylin O'Connell's four blocks
Sunday at Georgia State marked her 10th match this season where she averaged at
least one block per set.
Towson junior Katy Buck recorded her 1,000th career kill
Sunday afternoon in the Tigers' 3-2 victory over James Madison. Buck is the
13th player in program history to reach the mark.
James
Madison junior libero Katie Daorai became the third Duke this season to reach
the 1,000 career digs Friday night in the Dukes' 3-0 sweep of Delaware. Daorai
ranks sixth in school history with 1,035 total digs.
